一、外贸常见的付款方式
1.T/T:Telegraphic Transfer 电汇
2.L/C:Letter of Credit 信用证
3.D/P:Document against Payment 付款交单
4.T/T定金&尾款T/T
5.T/T定金&尾款信用证
6.T/T定金&尾款见提单副本
以上几种方法都是国际外贸交易中较为常见且安全的付款方式,但要注意做D/P时托收银行需要是客户国家的知名银行,不到万不得已,尽量不要做D/P。
二、外贸英语函电关于付款方式的话术
1.哭穷法:装困难,博得客户同情,有点类似于我们在大学的时候写的助学金申请。
Eg. Now it’s a really hard period for us, we appreciate for your understanding and support in advance!
现在我们的确处于艰难时期,希望得到您的理解和支持!
2.画饼充饥法:先和客户绕圈子,假装退一步,缓兵之计,等合作起来熟悉了,变动的可能性也不会很大。
Eg. Frankly speaking, we always work with new customer with T/T 50%. For regular customers, we work with T/T 30%.
老实说,我们和新客户合作都是50%T/T,对于老客户就是30%T/T。
Eg. We rarely work with L/C because we are not familiar with that. And it seems that bank charges is quite high.
我们很少和没合作过的客户用L/C的付款方式,因为银行费用相当高。
3.公司规定:如果说了一大堆理由,客户还是不同意,就直接搬出公司规定不接受T/T和信用证以外的付款方式,我也想跟你合作,但我不是老板,我也很无奈。
Eg. We really want to work with you but it’s hard to work with L/C 30 days as it’s the first cooperation. It will be rejected by our financial department.
我也很想和你合作,但是L/C30天对于第一次合作来说真的让人为难。这样的付款方式会被我们的财务部门拒绝。
三、和客户谈论付款方式的外贸英语函电
Dear XXX,
Re: Our Enquiry No.35
关于我们第35号询价
Reference is made to your letter of the 12th inst.along with your quotation against the captioned enquiry.
参考你本月12号的来信,关于上面标题询价的报价。
Having studied your quotation and the specifications, our endusers find both suitable but the payment asked for is unacceptable.
我们已经研究了你的报价和规格,我们最终用户认为都合适,就是付款条款是不可接受的。
You call for 1/3 down payment with the order and the balance to be paid against a confirmed irrevocable L/C.
你要求1/3预定金随同订单,尾款通过保兑的不可撤销信用证。
To be frankly, this is in no way feasible and is , in our opinion, unnecessary and unadvisable.
坦白地告诉你这是不可行的,并且在我们看了,是不必要和不宜的。
Our usually terms of payment are by 50% before production, the balance pay by in 5 days against B/L copy. We believe it’s a fair payment terms and it ensure mutual benefits.
我们通常的付款条款是生产前百分之五十的定金,其余的在交货前五天内通过B/L支付。我们相信这是非常公平的付款方式,为了确保我们双方的利益。
